Two shows I really wanted to see are closing within the next few weeks, and today FH called me to surprise me with tickets to BOTH!
He says it wasn't that expensive, b/c he got discounts through work, but he's crfazy anyway. I'm so excited

Re: My FH = AWESOME!
I had the umm..pleasure of seeing Joey Fatone as Mark in RENT. Not only is he a boybander, NOT an actor, but he's so NOT Mark.
I saw Woody Harrelson in The Rainmaker. I don't know what his previous stage experience is, but he was incredible. There are a lot of cropssover people I don't mind. Bill Pullman was so good in The Goat, etc..but when it's random people just to bring in the masses, it btohers me. I guess that's just the nature of the business though,

OOH I want to add that we will see something original in a few months. For Christmas (shhh!) I got Fh tickets for Spamalot! I'm so excited. It has a few big names in it, but they are talented actors, not backstreet boys! VERY psyched.
Spamalot is suppose to be great!! Tim Curry and David Hyde-Pierce have extensive Broadway resumes and Hank Azaria is an amazing actor. I don't mind stuff like that, but the Drew Lachey's and Melanie Griffiths have got to go!!!
I can't wait to see Spamalot in March. The tix are sitting here on my desk!
We're seeing it February 18. I bought them in June. They were going to be a birthday/anniversary gift, but it was too far off, so its going to be a Christmas/Hanukkah gift. Plus, it's the weekend after Valenint';e day, so my Valentine's day gift to him is easy - dinner before the show!
