my FH has such an opinion on dresses

who said FHs can have opinions on this? my word! i feel like i opened up a pandoras box. lol.

every now and again i show him a pic of a random dress to get thoughts and he is so critical (too plain, too boring, too much, looks like a bridesmaid dress, looks like a nightgown)....

OYYYY!!!!!

im trying to prepare him for the fact that i WILL NOT be wearing a big princessy dress because i feel like ive been there-done that (l had to wear a wedding dress in 8th grade...catholic school...dont ask...lol)...and i had a poofy dress for prom, so im just over it.

but man o man...he has opinions....never expected this! lol

Don't worry, he's gonna have 10 million opinions but when he sees you on your wedding day he's going to think you're the most gorgeous creature on Earth, no matter what kind of dress you're wearing.

Wow, that's the complete OPPOSITE of mine! I asked him if he has any preferences.....he looked at me like I asked him to build a house He had this puzzled look on his face and was just like....'No, I really don't care..........'

Of course, this is also the man who when I said I was nervous about choosing a gown responded with 'What's the big deal? It's just a dress......'

Hahaha...FH is the same way!!! I was looking at some peoples dresses on here yesterday while he was watching TV...all of of sudden opinions were flying out of his mouth...and I realized the type of dress I wanted he is not to crazy about

I am just tryin to prepare john now for no BIG BIG dress down the aisle. lol...but he is really crazy...he even told me i COULD spend more $$ on a dress. ***. who is this guy?

it is just so ridiculous. i wonder how he will react to BM dresses. we havent even started that dialogue yet!! all i know is that he doesnt want his boys wearing pink (which is why he has been not feeling my first choice of colors). lol

i learned a long time ago, if i don't ask his opinion & i do what i want it works out just fine. so thats what i did. i ordered the dress that i loved for myself. only my mom, sister, & FMIL have seen it & they all love it.
the bridesmaids dresses i only showed him because he heard me yelling at the girls about it. when i showed it to him he said, 'wow thats a nice dress, i am surprised you picked it.' nice right.

lol i showed him my dress. i was showing him like 20 pix of dresses, and i snuck mine in in the middle.. hes like OMG YEA! i lvoe that 1. it was SOOOOOOOOOOOOO ahrd for me to keep a straight face. it hink he knew.. lol

He likes very plain dresses...not a fan of the blinged out ones....but what bride doesn't want to sparkle on her wedding day LOL

I swear girl...he asks me like 3 or 4 times a week what colors I want for the BM's

I was like, do you mean strapless? Yes, he means strapless. I told him I will not be walking down the aisle topless, not to worry. hahaha.

thank god im not alone.

i made the mistake of telling fh that i dont plan on wearing white and he freaked out!!!

he said 'YOU BETTER WEAR WHITE'

i explained to him that white doesnt look good with my skin tone. i told him i need ivory. he said, oh thats still white babe

dont get me started with the bm dresses!!!

my fh is soooooooo involved!!!!

woooowwww..you are sooo lucky!! that is soooo awesome!!! and yeah, if FH actually agreed...i dont think i could keep a straight face either. LOLOL

LOL - my Fh had said to me that he had wanted to me to get a particular style dress (I dont even remember what it was...all I remember is that it totally want my style), and he said this to me in front of his mother. Well, FMIL (bless her heart), told him he has no say in the matter whatsoever. That ended that conversation! So yeah, he hasnt said anything about it since!

well, i told FH i will be getting a white dress most likely, so he should match me for his tux (meaning the vest, duh)...and he was liike....o, i dont know if i want to wear white.

im like what color do you want to wear?? and he was thinking a long time...and im like, you know we are talking about the vest right? and he responds, 'well what color is teh rest of the suit'? i said, BLACK. he was like oooohh.

I think once he sees you walk down the isle, he won't care what dress your wearing - only that he is going to marry the person he loves. FH has a lot of opinions on dresses too but in the end, it wont matter. He will be happy if you are happy. Get the dress that you love!
