MY FH IS AN IDIOT!

i am so upset right now and am sitting at my desk hysterical crying and i want to kill him...

he made a mistake booked a 7 AM flight for today instead of 7 PM - at least he realized it BUT now it cost us a fortune because we are paid for 2 flights today....

he is such an idiot...i dont know why he even told me - he sould have kept it a secret from me....

i feel like i am going to be sick over it

and this is on a flight that we barely had money for - but because of the situation we decided to take the chance to see this house....i just feel so sick over it

Was your flight today?? If it was 7am today and you missed it that means your return home flight is cancelled (i believe).

Aw, there was no way to change the flight and just pay the fee to change it? I guess they must have been non-refundable then? Aw, I'm sorry.

ETA: Got confused and was thinking your flight was tomorrow morning. There must be a way to work it out since you missed the flight.

I like that he told you about it honestly....it's a MAJOR screwup and he didn't keep it from you...that says good things about him to me!

Nicole - they would not give you the chance to just switch your flight for a change fee? Can you get a credit for one of the tickets and use it to your HM? I am so sorry this happened.

im sorry!!! Just take deep breaths and hang in there! He probably feels stupid that he did that too...

I am so sorry sweetie!!! I know it *****, but dont get to upset over it. There is nothing that you can do about it now, and it was a mistake.

I don't blame you for being upset, but I agree. Aw, nice way to look at it, Jess.

Don't worry Nicole....I know it seems like a big deal now - but its only money! You can always make more. don't give him too hard of a time.
Everyone makes mistakes and I'm sure he is upset!

Call and talk to the airline, you never know - maybe you'll get a helpful person. Thankfully fh was honest with you - shows you have good communication and can talk to each other - with tthat you can get through anything together.

Did you try explaining to the airline what happened? People make mistakes, they should be able to help you out with this I hope.

thanks guys i feel better....he worked it out with them somehow but it still cost us $200 extra than it was supposed to...he feels horrible and i know he is upset to and he feels like a jerk - its just that this trip was already a little stressful and now this on top of it.....but i guess there is nothing left do but laugh about it right....its kind of funny that he booked the 7 AM flight instead of the 7 PM flight - but not that funny at least he realized BEFORE we got to the airport tonight!

Yes, luckily he realized it before tonight. At least there was a way to work it out then even if it cost you more money. But, you know what, I'm a firm believer that everything happens for a reason. You may not see it now, but maybe it will work out better in some way.

OMG gosh...so sorry! That is the worst feeling and I am always so scared I am going to do that! Where were you going? FL?

To make you feel better I missed a flight one time (my fault...but the airline people were jerks and I really could have made it). Anyway I just had a bad breakup with ex-bf and my dad bought me a ticket to go to a family reunion that I wasnt originally planning on going to. Anyway I had to pay $700 for a brand new flight! I was sick over it too but I had to get there and my coworker said 'there is always money to be made....go be with your family and god will find a way to get the money back to you' (Shes very religious). Anyway I did make the $$$ back at my second pt job which started giving me so many hours! I am so happy I went and dont regret it for one minute!

Oh so sorry!!! Is there any way you can get a credit for the flight?
