My FH is so cranky!

He hates his job, and is really trying to get out. He had a FOURTH interview today (all for 1 job!!!!!) and was all excited about this job (it's actually the first job he's interviewed for since he started looking, only a week and a half ago!) and excited about getting out of his old job. They told him they'd call him back today, and didn't.
He's unbareably (is that a word?) crabby. It's gonna be a loooooooong job search

I'm so sorry to hear that, but just think, the next time it hits you to be crabby, he has no excuses to not let you! I've been a bit of a crab lately over finding a job too. At least he got an interview! I will keep my fingers crossed for him.

How IS your job search going??

It's going ok. I started teaching privately the other day and had so much fun! I missed my kids in the worst way! I think I will be ok. I sent my resume to a bunch of places and although most are not hiring, I got a lot of offers if I want to be a sub. Which is fine if I can't find something else better. So we'll see. How are things going other than your cranky FH? You know what makes me cranky sometimes? Is that my FH NEVER EVER gets cranky. I think there's something wrong with him!

my FH has been so cranky since we got back from vacation. He is working so many hours, we have so many bills and he is starting to hate some of the people he works with. He just called me a little bit ago to tell me he has to work till 3am because a flight got delayed.

I feel bad for him and he is so tired and cranky I just let him be. Then their are days I am so depressed and fustrated because I am out of work and its not getting any easier I just take everything out on him.

The best thing we have found for each other to be when we are like that is just to let them vent and be. He'll go on the computer and I'll go in the bedroom and watch a movie or maybe I'll go for a walk.

Sometimes leaving someone alone for a little is really the only thing that can work. They eventually come around

Chippa, I definately agree!!! Last night i was ****y, and knew that I'd be fine in the morning, just give me my space. But every 3 minutes he was like 'Are you OK? Are you happy yet....' The more he asked, the more annoyed I got

FH is moving here in December Kind of far away, but he'll be here for three weeks starting this sunday, so I am happy. We are thinking about living with his parents so that we can save money for the wedding, but I'm not so hot on that idea. We'll see.
As for him never getting cranky, that in itself can be annoying. I mean, I know on the inside he must get cranky, but he never ever shows it, which makes me mad because I feel like the problem is that he is UNABLE to feel cranky. I don't know, maybe I just worry too much!

Be thankful for his 'un-crankiness'!!

Glad he's coming to visit And that's great if you can live with his parents to save some $$, just be careful of that FMIL of yours

I know! FMIL is the reason why I don't want to live there! She's coming with me this weekend to pick up JT, that should be fun

I usually do that to him the 'are you ok' because he just has a face on and he says nothing just tired and I keep thinking their is something else that is bothering him and he just doenst want to talk about it.

i hate it when he's cranky.

Ughhhh...Thank G-d...he got the call today for the job. WOOOOHOOOOOO. He has to go meet with them AGAIN on Tuesday. He has been like a different person since that phone rang
