My FH mom hates me part 2

Hello all,
I really want to thank everyone that replied to my message yesterday. I feel much stronger now after reading your responses.
My honey and I did talk about 'what now' and he said that he doesn't expect me to ever feel the way I used to about her, because he doesn't . We both agreed that now we know what she truely feels and it will never be the same between the three of us.
She had made a statement to him that since I am marrying into the family I need to learn to make compromises. I said to him that the only one I need to make compromises with is him since he will be my husband NOT HER! Am I right?
I only have one crazy mother to deal with I don't need two!
He and I also talked how I felt that she has no right to pass judgements on us as a couple because in the four years we have been together she has not made an effort to get to know 'us'. My mother knows too much but at least she asks us how was school, work etc. His mom never asked us. So I figure if we do have it out face to face, I will state my mind in the most respectable way, but if not oh well!
She is moving in a week to Georgia with his dad so...they will be out of the way, somewhat!

Good luck to you! I think it's wonderful that you have the support of your fiance - it says a lot for him! Still, it must be hard, especially during what should be a happy time in your life!

Ok, I just wanted to say I'm so sorry that you are having problems with FMIL. I feel your pain. (I'm saying that way too much these days about everyone's crazy MILs!). But anyway, listen, is there any way we could get my FMIL to hitch down to Georgia with your's? So far, there's been no other takers! Go figure
Things will be getting better before you know it. Hey, in about a week to be exact!

i hope everything works out... it should be a little easier once they move... and im glad to hear that your fiance agree's with you because that is REALLY important...
In the past I had some problems with his parents, but my fiance agreed with me and kept on my side.. .it really does make the difference
