My FH upgraded to bigger room at Westbury Manor-think he is jumping gun...

So..

When we booked WM we had to fill 100 people, 140 max ( Garden Room).
So our list grew and grew. At first we had 100 then since max is 140, he wanted to invite more. FINE.
Then the list grew to 160 . I told him fine; 20% say no.
HE INSISTED I call and get bigger room.
I said no, people will say no. He said not to worry, he can invite more people and didn't want us at 140 squashed, anyways...

So he calls me this am and did upgrade (Manor Room).
We have to fill 140 people.

I pray we get that.

What happened to my small wedding???

I think you need to be veru firm about the guest list...You can't invite every single person..and God forbid you don't fill it, that is a lot of dough to lose!

If my FH did that I think I would strangle him, then with his last breath make him call back and change what he did...

LOL-----> FH and I had same issue with WM. We were a small wedding initially, but still thought the Garden Room was tight for 100... dance flr not large enough. We LOVED their Manor Room though. But we could only get that room during the day for the 150 min. Sat night they wanted 225. We knew we wanted a Sat. night, but didn't want to invite 250 ppl. We didn't book with WM...but loved that room.
