WHat material is it? If it is Plat. see if you can get it in white gold instead , that would be cheaper. We are having our bands custom made and believe it or not it is actually cheaper than all the jewelry wtores we have been to. We are getting our bands from David S Diamonds in the diamond district.

that looks almost exactly like the one I got for my FH...we just picked them up on Friday. I got it at Saettle Jewelers, here in St. Louis.
How much is it at Fortunoff's? I got his in platinum but it also comes in white gold...

Try having a jeweler make it - we are having FH's jeweler make it and it is much cheaper than fortunoffs price.

I am sure that I can get it cheaper then Fortunoff. Can a jewler make it Im dumb when it comes to this can a certain jewler like copyright it? It is made by Jeff Cooper. Its Plat. and it was 2000.00 and I feel Crapy cause my FH spent money on my ring and told me that I could have what ever wedding band I wanted. But right now I don't have a great job and I can't afford to spend that.

local stores can order the jeff cooper..... also if you bring the picture to a jewler they can normally try and duplicate it for less(it just wont be a brand name original)

I think Elsa jewelers on 110 specializes in custom rings. If you show them a picture they can definitely make one. They actually might have that ring their because their specialty is wedding bands. I have a few girlfriends who have bought their bands their and are very pleased. They are right next door to Adventureland.

My FH also wants that Jeff Cooper ring, but yes it is expensive, but I want him to have a ring that he loves and since it will be his only ring he will be wearing, it's important, we are also going to check out if the ring style can be custom made to replicate it. I think that is the way to go. My FH got my engagement ring custom made in NJ at the Jewelery Factory, so we will probably check them out again, I am very happy with my Engagement ring from them - and because of that ring, I will also probably have to get my band custom to fit the style of the ER.

i would take that picture and go to tri-county flea market in jelelway exchange..they will custom make it much cheaper then what fotnoff's wants

I will email my friend- she works for a guy in the bowery area and gets good wholesale prices. I will try to get you a price. ETA thats where we got my e ring and where I will get my wedding band. They have sooo many places down there- its worth a trip to the city

My friend's FH got the same band. They too first saw it at Fortunoffs but then got the same band in Tri County. I am sorry, I am not sure what booth (maybe David something). But definitely try there. She said it was 1/3 of the price at Fortunoffs.

Elsa's is wonderful! I had my wedding band custom made to mach my e-ring there as well as getting 2 rings for my DH

I spoke w/ my friend & they have that ring in white gold where she works seasonally @ Hectors Fine Jewelry 72 Bowery straight to the back-----in the city the price I got was $975. you could probably talk them down a bit.

I am suprised to hear that she was able to help you. My engagement ring was made by Elsa. When we went back to look at bands, she made it clear that she couldn't help us with anything in the 'several hundred dollar range'.
