My FH was in a really bad car accident last night

And it made me realize that some little things about the wedding just are not worth the stress the important thing is that we will be married at the end of the day.

It made me realize when we were at the hospital last night and he was apologizing because he was afraid somehow this would ruin the wedding. The car is totaled so we have to go out and buy a new car, and he is afraid because it is a lease that they will not pay off the whole thing. It made me realize that I do not care if we get married in a courthouse with jeans on, I am just so happy he is here and we can get married period.

Girls just remember with all the hussel and bussel of the wedding, in the end we will be married and that is all that is important. I know I got to caught up in the whole wedding day sometimes, and the relationship got ignored a little. And the rest of our lives are more important than one little day.

At least he is okay now, right? I was in a car accident a few weeks ago. I am still very shook up over it and FH just keeps reminding me thank God you are still here.

It really does put things in perspective.

He will be ok after a couple of days of healing, It could have been alot worse. When I saw the car I though it was bad. But the tow truck driver told me he is lucky he is alive.

I'm so glad he is ok. My FH hd a bad accident a few months ago & totalled his car.
It just makes you realize the little things don't matter.

I'm so glad that your FH is OK!!! thanks for the reminder to keep things in perspective. I hope that you and he have a speedy recovery (his physical, yours probably from the nerves/emotions of the whole ordeal).

Well, I am glad that he is OK.. I totally understand what you said. I was in a bad car accident in June and FH and I had the same feelings. You realize just how important the other person is to you.
