My FH's sister called me to apologize last night :-)

Just wanted to update everyone who read my saga from 2 weeks ago when I told my FSIL off about making me the butt of her jokes, along with my FH...

after causing a HUGE argument with my FH (which honestly almost broke us up) and telling me that I have a 'stick up my butt', she called me last night to apologize to me. She was very sweet and sounded very sincere and opened up about how her brother means so much to her and she doesn't mean to make me feel like that and she won't let it happen again. She also admitted that when she's caught off guard, she goes on the offensive, which she did with me, and she was sorry. I told her that I didn't call her to start a fight, just to tell her that something bothered me and I would appreciate it if she wouldn't do it since I don't do it to her, and I reminded her that she gets upset when other family members make fun of her and make HER cry at family events, so since we're both equally sensitive, I thought she would understand. She said that since I'm going to be her brother's wife, she wants to make sure things start off on the right foot and since we're going to be family, she wants things to be comfortable with us. We both said we love each other and now everything is fine. I'm glad that's all better now! But I really appreciate that she did that, especially now that I know that the shower, b-party, WEDDING - and everything else is coming up!!!

My FH had already promised me that what happened would never happen again, but this apology was VERY nice.

DEFINITELY!!! I couldn't even stand being in the same room with her after what happened, but this really makes it all better! And she really seems to UNDERSTAND where I was coming from, which is the most important. It wasn't just a surface apology.
