Thanks again to Sophie (sr081906) for coming out and taking the shots for me...and for asking important questions about the bustle and generally everything...she was very important in the whole process yesterday!!!!
Sophie wanted to get a good shot of the beading...but it was too bright...but i put it in sepia and 'voila' you can see it...hey, maybe this is the color that crazy aunt thinks I should wear??

ladies, you are all soooo sweet. FH actually wanted to see the pics but after all this time [of him] refusing to see a picture of me in it, i refused to let him see. he's going to die..
although, we've been practicing our first dance, which is going to be laughable...so last night i decide to put on the stripper shoes so i can experience what it's really going to be like...they make me almost as tall as him...he hates it. he begged me to promise not to wear them...but it will mean $$$$$$$ in alterations to shorten the hem so no dice. he's not thrilled i'll be so tall. maybe i'll look into flip flops that are taller, but not that tall...but i might be tripping on the dress if i do. poor FH.

That dress is beautiful! We just got engaged a few weeks ago and I'm having a tough time finding my dress. All the little boutiques I go to are extremely expensive. Did you think David's Bridal prices were fair? I know their is a lot more to choose from there.
