well ladies - i completed my first DIY project this weekend!! and let me say, it was harder than i thought!! i'm NOT artistically inclined AT ALL! so i'm really proud of myself the way our WE DO letters came out!!
i want to add some glitter to spruce them up - but FH says no... i'm torn!! glitter or no glitter?!?!
Umm I say you can do no glitter or you can do a little bit of pink glitter. HTH.

what about instead of glitter - get some gemstones or things like that & put them a few on each letter??
Like at the tops & bottom of each part of the W, each edge of the E, at the top & bottom of the D & at the two points of the o.

I think they look nice just the way they are.
If anything, I'd go with davenjess's suggestion of a few little rhinestones or somthing.

right - i think his concern is them being OVERLY girly.....with a bunch of glitter - but if you compromise with maybe white stones or something - this way it's still sparkley...but not - overly girly.....ya know? :)

HAHAHA totally!!! like last night we went to our church for the pre-cana mass & FH has never been to the church were getting married in so i'm like 'isnt our church so pretty?!' and FH was like 'i dont really care what it looks like' but you KNOWWWWW if it was ugly inside he would have something to say! hahaa

For someone who says that they are not artistically declined, you did an AWESOME job. I agree with the other girls who suggested the gemstones/rhinestones.
