i say try it on 1 letter worse comes to worse you can always go buy another letter and repaint it

They are pretty but I feel like they are missing somthing and that one thing may be some bling. I say add the glitter

what about instead of glitter - get some gemstones or things like that & put them a few on each letter??
Like at the tops & bottom of each part of the W, each edge of the E, at the top & bottom of the D & at the two points of the o.

love how they look...are you going to have candles on the table and maybe rose petals because that will spruce the table up and then the letters will stand out even more
