So, after I got engaged and the first time I seriously looked at dresses, I spotted this dress on theknot and i saw this photo and thought it was so beautiful - the dress - the photo - the whole look. It's been my avatar for months now.
Well, I finally got the opportunity to try it on today and I love it!

I'm going to try and figure that out today! My mom is going to come with me today. There were two dresses that I really liked - this was one of them. It's very simple and that's what I wanted, but I wonder if there is such a thing as too simple...
There's another one - same cut, but it has a more interesting back and I thought maybe I should go with that one.
I also think I'm nuts for only going to one place and looking at one designer, but the thing is - I've been looking on line and in mags for months and I had this picture in my mind and I can't shake it. Maybe that's a sign in itself!

Congrats.. you will know if it is the one. Dont second guess your self. And your moms reaction will tell you as well if it is the one. my mom cried when i came out in the dress i felt was the one. Hmm.. or was she crying because i was in all white. lol

So, I took my mom with me the next day and she sort of made it a bit more confusing for me. Now there are two dresses. I'm still leaning towards the more simpler of the two.
What do you all think?

I'm happy that you all like #1. I think my mom thought it was boring, but I think it's so classic and elegant.
I'm not a big lace and beading kind of gal and I'm not getting married in a church. I thought something like this would be more appropriate. And even though it's simple, I think it's still beautiful.

It's gorgeous & you can 'dress it' up with jewelry & a veil.. you will look very bridal, if that what she is worried about.
