My First Dress Shopping Experience

My First Dress Shopping Experience

(sorry cant post pix as FW goes on here sometimes!)

1st stop-
Bridal Reflections Massapequa.
Other than a slight misunderstanding about what time to be there (they said be 1/2 hour early, but my appointment was right when they opened so we were outside for that time period) - this appointment was AMAZING. I'm so glad my mom 'talked me into' going here for the experience. The attendant was Amazing!!! Although I went for the maggie trunk show, i really liked the james cliffords, 3 were on my 'list' and 1 i loved. I think it may be outside my price range tho, so I am now (literally) having dreams about it....

I kept shopping as i wanted to find something similar but cheaper ... next stop:
David's Bridal Massapequa.
We got to David's around 130 PM and i specifically asked 'do you have any appointments available today' and the girl asked around and 'fit' me in.
Well, the lady who helped me was HORRIBLE. she did not listed to what i said at all, kept bringing me dresses that were not anything like i wanted. My sister started to pull some dresses and she told my sis that she was not allowed, then proceeded to make fun of her for pulling the wrong sizes. Then, the lady's real appointmetn came (maybe her 2pm?) so she was helping us both at the same time... why did they even give me the appointment then!! Not to mention, the dresses did not fit right and made me feel horrible. I ended up walking out, barely even telling the lady @ the front desk and almost crying.

Stop 3
Renates - Lindenhurst
ummm apparently they moved? LOL I liked this place once when i was a BM so i will have to find them and go another time!

Stop 4
Village Bridal- Babylon
We got here at 325PM. The lady was nice enough to get us a dressing room while we pulled some dresses. She was so nice. They close at 4PM!
I found a couple dresses that i was interested in, i must have tried on 8 or 10 in the 1/2 hour i had. I definitely want to make a real appointment here at some point, as I made myself a little rushed!

overall, it was a great first experience (except davids) and i cant wait to go to some more. PS it is WAY better to SCHEDULE an appointment!
