We have gum surgery on five quadrants (4 his, one mine) , gold crown (mine), fills, bone grafting on four quadrants, custom night guards for both of us plus regular visits. Very annoying! I hate seeing her.. it's like 'what now'.
My root canal CAUSED my gum problems *grumble* still can't chew on sweet chewy things without pain. No caramel, no oatmeal raisin cookies, no milk chocolate (only as much as a hershey kiss) and nothing too cold or too hot. BAH!

this is the second dentist..LOL the first idiot caused my gum problems.
I complain because it was expensive. We both now pass with flying colors and we are religious about going twice a year. It really does pay off. The regular visits are free but save us money if that makes sense.

Sorry to interrupt your dental thread, but I wanted to wish buttermike a most sincere congratulations on his first pulled thread! Buttermike your acceptance speach was most inspiring !
I wish I too could have a pulled thread, but I'm too passive-aggressive, non-confrontational. *sigh* I have my aspirations though....if Buttermike can do it, anyone can.....
