First of all, I would like to thank Jessie (FutureJOC) for passing her crown over to me!! I am SO excited to be BOTW! I hope I do a great job like she did!!

So here is my first QOTD as BOTW!

These questions are going to bring you back to the early days of your relationship with FH.

For me, FH asked me out on our first date. It wasn't a typical first date, we went to a show to see some bands that he liked play. It was definitely a fun environment and we had a great time.

FH also initiated our first kiss. It was at the show we went to! I left the area where the bands were playing and when I returned FH was waiting for me, then he put his arms around me and kissed me.

FH also said I love you first! He said it about 4 months into our relationship. I knew it was coming for about a week or two before he actually said it. The way I knew was because we would begin to talk about our relationship (long term) and then he would get really nervous and not say it. But then one night we were in the basement of his parent's house talking and then all of a sudden he said I love you! I was so happy and told him I loved him too!

awww what a good question! Really brings me back!

* For your first date, did FH ask you out, or did you ask FH out?
Our first 'date' was our 9th grade dance. He had just broken up with his gf a month before and I really wanted to go with him to the dance. We had the same group of friends and my best friend (a girl he had grown up with since nursery school) hinted to him that I wanted him to ask me. Finally he did!!

* Who initiated your first kiss?
FH initiated our first kiss. It was right after the last dance at our 9th grade dance. Of course, it was PG rated, but he saved a better one for the after-party

* Who said I love you first?
I said I love you first. We had only been together about 2 months. He said it back too, but I don't know if he really meant it at the time. A month or two later he said it first, so that's when I knew it was right

* For your first date, did FH ask you out, or did you ask FH out?

Well FI is good friend's with my cousin and we all hung out one night, drinking and such and me an him started hitting it off. So I had asked him a few days later if he possibly wanted to go to a Mets game with me that everyone one was going to and he said sure. But, that wasn't our first date. He wanted to get together sometime before the game to grab dinner and whatnot so he called me at work one day and asked if I wanted to have dinner with him that night. I excitedly said yes and thank god I was wearing something cute to work that day because I had to go meet him right after work! What was very cute about this was neither one of us had really ever had an actual real date before with anyone. Like the whole pick you up at the house, go to dinner, talk and go somewhere afterward. All our previous relationships just kinda were like 'Let's be BF/GF' type thing. So it was very cute... his family and my family kept texting us the whole night to see how the date was going lol.

* Who initiated your first kiss?

It was definitely a joint effort and it happen on our drunken first night out lol. We pregamed at a friends house and then we all went out to a bar. There was a DJ there and everything so I was drinking and dancing it up with a few friends and I noticed he kept eyeing me. So I went over to him and grabbed him onto the dance floor and we started dancing (getting a little closer as time went on). He then said 'You gotta stop' and I said 'Why' and he was like 'Cause I'm not going to be able to hold back from kissing you right now' and I said 'I may not stop you' and then we just went at it ::

It was FI (although I was bursting to say it sooner). We were hanging out with our friends at a bar and we went outside to get some fresh air. We were just standing there and he was like I have to talk to you about something. And then proceeded to tell him how he has never felt the way he does with anyone else as he does with me and how he thinks he might be falling in love with me. And I said that the feeling was mutual. So yeay

I just got tingly inside just thinking about all this again. Great qeustion!!!

AAWWW, brings back memories

Our first date was very weird!! It was at the Crazy Donkey in Farmingdale, which happened to be our first kiss as well that he initialed.
We met through a mutual friend who kept trying to get us to meet and I kept putting it off until one day she convinced me to go out with them. Since I loved to dance, he invited me to go out the following weekend and I agreed!
FH was actually the first to say 'I love you' and the rest is history. We have been inseparable from that moment on.

* For your first date, did FH ask you out, or did you ask FH out?

I honestly don't remember, we had been talking on the phone for a while before we went out, I can't remember who asked whom.
After that date, I never thought I'd see him again. He didn't hold my hand int he movie and he didn't want to come up to my dorm room to hang out after the date... at 3pm... he politely declined and dropped me off at the campus gate. But that's all history

* Who initiated your first kiss?
It was mutual... a goodbye kiss as he dropped me off at the subway to go home... on the R train... from Brooklyn headed to Queens... now THAT is love, ladies.

* Who said I love you first?
He did. We had gone to see my favorite LI band in the city and we were on opposite sides of the train platform as he had to go to Brooklyn and I to Queens and somehow he had cell service... so he called me while we were looking at each other across the platform... I didn't know what he was doing until I checked my vm at Penn... and he left the most beautiful voicemail telling me he loved me.
1//6/2005, our anniversary, we had been seeing each other for about 2 months and weren't official..until that moment.

* For your first date, did FH ask you out, or did you ask FH out?
I love telling this story because it's sort of funny. At the time I was FH's Brothers' best friend. (Both of them.) And I met FH occassionally at party's and bars (Quick side story of how we met...We met at his brothers' going away party bc they were moving to SC so it was in bar we were totalled...FH comes up behind me and smacks my butt sooo hard i couldnt sit down and I started to cry. Next day I went to play baseball with my friends and he was there I whacked him with a bat!) and what not so I guess in that time he added me as a friend on myspace. So one day completely randomly he sends me a message on myspace hey gorgeous long time no speak etc... and I did a quick response thought nothing of it. Then a couple of weeks later I instant messaged my friend (his brother) and it turned out to be him. So we talked for a while on there, and then he started stalking me on myspace and wouldnt leave me alone so one night after hanging out with his brother I got dragged to FH's appartment against my will. We hung out. Then he goes to me the next day will you please go out with me now. So I agreed. :) LONG STORY I KNOW!

FH did while we were watching Good Luck Chuck.

FH said I loved you first. It happened while we were hanging out one day and I was playing with his daughter and it slipped out and he was like stunned he said it out loud.

FH asked me out first..he asked me to come to his Frat house(i know how romantic) to watch a playoff Yankee game because he somehow knew i am an obsessed fan.

FH initiated the first kiss the same night as our first day on the living room couch of his house

Well...the first time we dated in HS, FH asked me to be his girlfriend...he had picked me up after a class and was walking me to my next one. That lasted about a month.
Then in college, there was no official asking out, however I was accused of looking at him 'like that' which required that he kiss me....that round lasted less than a month.
Then finally (third times the charm) I asked him to go to a mutual friend's wedding with me as friends, b/c we were both single at the RSVP date. He wound up with a girlfriend just before the wedding, but still insisted on going with me...didn't hear from him for several weeks afterward, but when I did and asked how his girlfriend was, his response was 'oh I broke that off, I'd like to spend more time with you if that's ok' (interesting b/c we'd not spent ANY time together LOL) We 'spent time together' as soon as we could after that, with a huge group of our HS friends, though still managed to seriously discuss that we were getting into this for the third time, and the rest is history!

FH all three times...the third first kiss being after that night we hung out with all of our friends...I was supposed to LIRR to my queens apt , and he wouldn't let me b/c it was late. He insisted that I sleep in his sister's bed (she was at college), and that he'd drive me back to queens at 7 the next morning...and I got a lovely goodnight kiss.

* Who said I love you first?
FH...a little bit drunk, so I didn't say it back...but I did soon after when we were sober.

* For your first date, did FH ask you out, or did you ask FH out?
FH was dating my friend. All 3 of us were supposed to hang out but my friend canceled on us and left us stranded together. So if you count that as the 1st time hanging out on our own, but it wasn't really a date.
After they broke up he asked me on a real date.

* Who initiated your first kiss? He did.

* Who said I love you first? I did.

For your first date, did FH ask you out, or did you ask FH out? We met online and both agreed to meet up - then that night we planned our first real date for 2 days later....

It was a mutual decision to meet up.
We had been talking online and on the phone for a few weeks and then we decided it was time to meet.

He did.

He did. It was the night we became an official couple. I didn't think he meant it because it was so early on so I said, You do? lol A couple of months later, I asked him if he meant it that he loved me, he said absolutely and thats when I finally said it to him.

* For your first date, did FH ask you out, or did you ask FH out?
This is a bit of a complicated answer for me since FH and I were friends before we started actually dating. I dont really remember how it happened but I'm pretty sure he was the one who did the asking lol

* Who initiated your first kiss?
He definitely did

* Who said I love you first?
He did, on a Christmas card!!! (or maybe my bday card, i dont rememeber since they are 10 days apart). I wouldnt say it back until he actually articulated those three words

* For your first date, did FH ask you out, or did you ask FH out?
We were friends before we started dating ( we were 15)... So idk what our real first date was but, the day that we realized we had feelings for one another we went to the city to the central park zoo and wax museum...... the night he asked me out we were babysitting my brother it was him me and my best friend and we played monopoly and he taught my brother how to cheat it was cute... he went home that night and asked me out on aim lol :)

* Who initiated your first kiss?
He initiated our first kiss after 2 months!!!! we were young and i think he was really nervous it was so cute!

* Who said I love you first?
I cant remember who said i love u first i think our love ya's slowly turned into i love yous!

For our first date FH asked me out

He kissed me first when we went out dancing one night..he was so nervous..I actually thought I was going to have to do it because we had been hanging out everyday for a month

He said I love you first when he thought I was sleeping..But I said it first while we were both awake..After we were out drinking one night laying in bed I'm like 'You know I love you, right?' I'm such a romantic

He asked me out. We went to play pool where he proceeded to lose every game even though he was an amazing pool player [I found out months later how great he really was] He said he lost all the games so that I would feel bad for him and lime him more. [It worked]

* Who initiated your first kiss?
He kissed me in my car when I drove him home from work one afternoon.


* Who said I love you first?
Guilty I said it first and about 3 weeks later he found the right moment to say it back.

For our first date FI asked me out. We met at a mutual freinds birthday party and we really hit it off. We talked on the phone almost everyday for about two weeks because he lived in New Jersey at the time. Finally he asked me to go to dinner with him and I said yes.

* Who initiated your first kiss?

Our first kiss was at the birthday party that we met at. I think we were both a little drunk so I don't really remember who initiated it.

* Who said I love you first?

FI said I love you first. We had been dating for about three months and we were sitting on the couch watching tv and he just looked at me and said 'I love you'.. and I said it back. It was really simple but I thought it was really special.

Hey girls! so i didn't get a chance to respond to this yesterday but i really like this questions since i love talking about the beginning of our relationship...so here goes...

*For your first date, did FH ask you out, or did you ask FH out?
FH and I never really had a first date. We met during the orientation for medical school down here in Guadalajara Mexico. I happened to be out one night with a bunch of new students (they were all from Puerto Rico) and I was the only american there..and i noticed FH standing up the whole time with his hat on backwards and being the quiet mysterious type...I ended up dancing with him once during the night and asked for his # (which wasn't too forward since everyone was sharing #'s since we were all new at school) Once he had my #, he texted me for lunch one day...after that we were friends for awhile and then one night after working at a community clinic FH and I ended up at a taco restaurant, with lights everywhere, and had a few beers...I realized we were on a date...so it just sort of happened. We studied together and hung out a lot after that and both started developing crushes on each other.

* Who initiated your first kiss? I did!! we were studying for a biochem test until about 4am the night before. we ended up crashing together in the same bed (nothing dirty i promise) around 5:30 am i sort of realized i was cuddling and when i moved my head up..we kissed! it was so amazing...i had felt butterflies and all that. After the exam that day, i went to FH's apt to talk about what happened and told him I wouldn't mind if that were to happen again! and the rest is history

* Who said I love you first? It was pretty mutual. we were both at a friends house and ended up going up to the roof since the sky was beautiful colors with rain clouds rolling in. At that moment it started to rain and i grabbed FH and I think it was him that said 'i think I'm falling in love you u' and I said ditto... from then on 'i love u' came naturally!

FH asked me out on a double date to TGIF. He took me out and his buddy took my sister out. Sounds weird but it was the first date date.

* Who initiated your first kiss?

He initiated it but I instigated it We were cuddled up watching a movie and he started to kiss my head and next thing I knew we shared our first kiss!


* Who said I love you first?

He said I love you 1st. It happened right before Easter 2005(2-3 months after we started dating). I was in such shock because I didn't realize I meant that much to him. Of course I said it back without a second thought!! Ironically, he proposed to me on Easter Sunday 2009 and I'm now realizing that the spring has more significance than ever!
