Time for my first QOTD, thank you so much for choosing me Jo!!
Since FH & I are away in Lake George right now (woo hooo for wireless internet in the hotel!! LOL), that brings me to my first question....
What is your favorite vacation that you and FH have been on alone.. just the two of you???
Mine would have to be last year when we went to the Bahamas... i absolutely love it there, it was our third time there but the two previous times we had went with couples & this time we decided to go just the two of us. This was also a special vacation because that is where FH proposed!! but besides that.. we had so much fun that trip. We rented a boat for one of the days and went all over the island just the two of us, anchoring wherever we wanted and doing whatever we pleased.. we went snorkeling (the water in the bahamas is amazing).. shopping at the ports is always fun & we just relaxed on the beach drinking rum punch for most of the trip this is also the vacation where my irish self got the best color of my life!! i was actually dark for once in my life LOL ... but yesss the bahamas is amazing & if anyone hasn't gone i definitely recommend you visit... you won't be disappointed!!
ahhhhhh this is really making me majorly miss the sun right about now.. mother nature needs to smarten up!!
the summer of 2007 when FH & I went to Myrtle Beach, SC ...
I was never at the beach until then...i never saw the ocean before..nothing...he took me.. drove the whole 12 hours down there...got us a condo on the beachfront..paid for everything...took me to awesome seafood dinners..
it was amazingggg

I'd have to say either Key West or Vegas.
When we went to Key West, we had a great time doing all of the fun water activities - jet skiing, snorkeling, etc. Our hotel was amazing, and we drove from Ft. Lauderdale down to the keys.
Vegas was also a great time. We took one day and drove to the Grand Canyon which was incredible. We went to see one of the Cirque de Soleil shows and had a really nice romantic dinner.
I don't think I could choose between the two. They were both amazing trips but so different.

fh and i go away....no we USED to go away every 6 months..(saving our days now for the honeymoon)
besttt trip..obviously the last 1 where he proposed in st.maarten. but i love every vacation we go on. its just us 2..no cell phones,no1 to harass us...away from our family and work and friends...
had a blast at universal.... i duno too many good memories to choose just 1 lol

We haven't gone on too many, but my favorite so far is our trip to Montreal. We took it to celebrate our 3 year anniversary, which is in the fall. We took Amtrak all the way up there and got to see the leaves changing colors, all the small towns on the way there. The city is AMAZING. We stayed in the heart of the city at a great hotel. Sampled a lot of Canadian beer (I love Canadian beer! ) and toured the city for a few days. We got a great table at a super fancy Indian restaurant and had a blast. Did a lot of shopping, went to historical sites and heard some live music. It was phenomenal...so much so that we've contemplated moving there ever since. We might take a quick trip up there again this fall, if $$$ allows for it. I love Canada. Sigh.
ETA: Of course, I do love our trip where he proposed in Key West, LOL...but we spent a good amount of time with my family so it wasn't just a vaycay, just the two of us.

hmm...well my favorite place we went was ARUBA. we had an amazing time there and i would loooove to go back!!!
but i also think i have to say Cancun last Labor Day week since thats where FH proposed!!!!

I think my favorite was Maui. It was just so beautful and we had an amazng time. But CA (San Diego and LA) is also up there -- because I got to share a part of the life I had when I lved there.

** I would have to say Jamaica !! We had just gotten engaged and everything was just perfect. We had such an amazing time. Our room was gorgeous and we had an amazing view.
FH & I sat on the beach with a flag and whenever u need a drink u just stick the flag in the sand and a waiter comes over to get ur order and brings it to u. Never have to leave ur lounge chair .... awesome!
The water was gorgeous and I cant wait to go back !!

Me and FH have never been on vacation together just us, the first time we went on vacation toghether was last year but his family was with us.
So our first vacation alone will be the HM, can't wait

I would have to say San Francisco. Neither of us had ever been there before. We took in a baseball game (which we do everywhere we go!), walked around the ENTIRE city, drove up to napa/sonoma for a day, etc. It was incredible!!!

I don't think I could choose, I just love getting away with him without any interruptions, we could just go to Boston and I am so excited to just get away from it all.

I would have to say our California trip last summer. We went to LA and San Diego for 8 days and it was the most amazing 8 days! We just went to local bars, did touristy things, laid by the pool and ate at amazing restaurants which is everything that we love to do and neither of us had been there before so that made it even better. We had gone away together before that trip but it was just for long weekends and this was our first extended vacation together and it was just fantastic.

I haven not been on here in a while......I would have to say that my favorite vacations with FH were our first trip to Jamaica (Couples San Souci) and when we went to Punta Cana, DR (Excellence). All inclusive so we were just relaxing and eating and drinking to our hearts content.

i don't think i could just pick one!!!
our big trips were cancun and cozumel and they were both out of this world amazing!!!!
we have taken a bunch of over nighters as well and those were just as special to me!
i know im a complete dork-but we dont live together and we dont really do the sleep overs (makes for peace in my house) so any night or extended period of nights i get to go to sleep next to him and then wake up in the morning with him still there is AMAZING!

I would have to say our trip to the Bahamas this past winter! I surprised Anthony with the trip for his 30th birthday, and we left the day after Christmas. . . . . Little did I know that Anthony was going to propose on Christmas day!!!! It was so wonderful, we got engaged on Christmas, and the went on our Bahamas trip the next day - it was like an engagement honeymoon!!!!
