Time for my first QOTD, thank you so much for choosing me Jo!!
Since FH & I are away in Lake George right now (woo hooo for wireless internet in the hotel!! LOL), that brings me to my first question....
What is your favorite vacation that you and FH have been on alone.. just the two of you???
Mine would have to be last year when we went to the Bahamas... i absolutely love it there, it was our third time there but the two previous times we had went with couples & this time we decided to go just the two of us. This was also a special vacation because that is where FH proposed!! but besides that.. we had so much fun that trip. We rented a boat for one of the days and went all over the island just the two of us, anchoring wherever we wanted and doing whatever we pleased.. we went snorkeling (the water in the bahamas is amazing).. shopping at the ports is always fun & we just relaxed on the beach drinking rum punch for most of the trip this is also the vacation where my irish self got the best color of my life!! i was actually dark for once in my life LOL ... but yesss the bahamas is amazing & if anyone hasn't gone i definitely recommend you visit... you won't be disappointed!!
ahhhhhh this is really making me majorly miss the sun right about now.. mother nature needs to smarten up!!

We had an AWESOME time in Vegas but my favorite vacay with him was when we went to Mohegan Sun. We were in college and he bought this package deal for a new hotel near Mohegan. They had a shuttle service that picked us up and dropped us off at the casino. We had the best time eating, drinking and gambling. We also went to Mystic and had the best time their too.
Since this is our last year celebrating 8-25 as our anniversary we're going back their to celebrate

I would have to say our trip to the Bahamas this past winter! I surprised Anthony with the trip for his 30th birthday, and we left the day after Christmas. . . . . Little did I know that Anthony was going to propose on Christmas day!!!! It was so wonderful, we got engaged on Christmas, and the went on our Bahamas trip the next day - it was like an engagement honeymoon!!!!

FH and I only went on one vacation by ourselves and it was just an overnight trip. We went upstate to my cabin and then to the Ren Faire the next day. It was a lot of fun. I probably ate my weight in pickles!!!

We've actually never gone away alone. We either go away to visit family, or the 2 cruises we did go on were with groups.
Soooo I would have to say our second cruise last December, why? bc thats when he popped the question!!

OH! I have so many!!! In the year we have been together we have been to Vegas, Italy, Disney and then taken some smaller trips to places like Chicago and DC... As much fun as we had in Disney and Vegas I would have to say Italy was by far the best!!! But you'll have to ask me again in a week or so, we're leaving for CA on Friday!!!

the only vacation FH and I ever had together was going to a friend's wedding in Texas. so that doesn't give me any options. We had a ton of fun tho.

We go away pretty often, mostly for overnights but try to get in a long vacation once a year.
Best one has to be when we went to Grand Cayman in March. It was right after we got engaged and we spent the entire week on the beach, romantic dinners, no blackberrys, and no distractions. It was amazing!

Our first Vacation together was last year. We went to Florida and we had such a wonderful time.

We've never been on a real vacation together...the only times we've even been away together was the first weekend he came out here we stayed in the city...and for my birthday we spent a night in Cincinatti.
Our honeymoon will be our first real vacation together.

I have only taken an extended weekend with FH our first one was to his friends in VA where we both went to DC for the first time and the 2nd was for his friends wedding in NH.

Ummm we had a blast when we went to visit my parents in London last year...but I think I most fondly remember our 4 day weekend getaway to Newport, RI....we just had sooooooo much fun and it was just really carefree and fun silly fun!

Our best vacation was the LA, we spent 3 days just the 2 of us then visited his BM for anohter 2 days

All our vacations and weekends together are special in one way or another. I think when we went to New Orleans was the most amazing one. That was the one when we first talked about getting married.

We went to Virginia Beach for a week last summer and the entire week before we went, it POURED. The day we got there was the first day of sunshine they had- and it wound up being beautiful every single day and then started raining as we were driving back home. Everything we planned was so much fun and everything just went so smoothly. It was one of the most fun weeks of my life, and it was actually that vacation that pushed us to becoming more serious about moving in together because we saw how great it was to be able to wake up with each other each morning and eat meals together, and all that kinda stuff.
