i think technically you should book the church first but we booked the RH first bc we wanted that place and date! good luck!

When I found the hall that I loved I got a couple of dates that they had then I went home and called church the and asked them if they had the same dates and if so then I just chose one

If you know what church you have in mind when you find the hall you can call both the same day and confirm they have the date available. That was what I did.
That's exactly what I did. We knew what church we wanted, and we fell in love with our hall, so we just tried to fnd a Sat evening in Oct when they could both accommodate us.

We booked the hall 1st but didn't tell the church that.....The church frowns upon that like someone else said in another post.....

Booked the hall first.. only by 4 days though.. didnt tell the church that i already had the hall booked... i heard they get offended.
