I am so excited for my first RH appointment this weekend! FH, FMIL, FFIL and myself are going to visit The Thatched Cottage on Saturday. This will be the first of many.
How many halls did you look at before making your decision? I have 10 on my list, but not sure if I will get through them all. I want to look at the following:
- Thatched Cottage - Fox Hollow - Westbury Manor - Jericho Terrace - The Woodlands - North Ritz Club - Crestwood Manor -The Inn at New Hyde Park -The Rivera -Crest Hallow Country Club
Any suggestions?

Here are the ones we looked at (in order)
Verdi's of Westbury- Coral House Swan Club Elite Palace Crest Hollow Fox Hollow
We had scheduled to see Crest, Fox Hollow and Stuart Thomas Manor on the same day, but after seeing Crest Hollow, were pretty much decided.

Congratulations on starting your search!
We looked at 5 places total before we made up our mind. Out of the ones on your list, we looked at the Fox Hollow, the Westbury Manor, and the Riviera. At the end of the day we narrowed it down to the Fox Hollow and the Westbury Manor and the Fox Hollow won out. We just got such a different feeling when we walked in there as compared to the other places we saw. Trust me, when you find the right place you will know!!

I looked at a lot, but I'm crazy. On your list I looked at Fox Hollow, North Ritz and CHCC. I went with just my mom to see them since I did look at too many to admit and then brought in FH and his family for my top two places. Good luck and enjoy!

We did a lot of research and narrowed down our search we started with about 20 halls and narrowed it down to about 10
Here are the ones we looked at:
-Jericho Terrace -Sandcastle -Russos on the Bay -Verdis in Westbury -Fox Hollow -Chateau Briand -Swan Club -Westbury Manor -Floral Terrace and our favorite of them all -Chateau La Mer

We only looked at 4. Our RH was the 3rd hall we looked at.
I've been to weddings at JT and NRC - both are excellent!

its alot of fun looking at halls and having everyone suck up to you lol
we only looked at 3, really 2 cause we only went to one of those cause it was close by and figured why not just look lol
my only word of advice, when you are getting all your quotes get every little thing is writing, even if its something that sounds silly like 'we'll throw in a free ice sculpture' you'd be surprised how much is forgotten in even a few hours lol

We looked at only 2 and fell in love with ours (that was the 2nd one) I'm glad b/c I really didn't have other places in mind that fit what we were looking for...

We looked, at Jericho Terrace, Creast Hollow, Fox Hollow, Coral House, Steward Manor, Douglaston Manor, North Ritz Club, Rivera, Chateu La Mer, Inn at New Hyde Park, Swan Club, and finally Westbury Manor. (whoa I never realized we looked at that many!!) We had booked at JT and after seeing WM we realized we had made a mistake, we lost some money in cancelling and I do NOT recommend this but in the end the day was about us and the feeling was totally different at that place.
i suggest not making a decision until you have seen ALL the places you want to.

I had a list of about 25. After seeing the first one I decided that I definitely did not want marble or mirrors anywhere.This narrowed the list down to about seven. The first place that I fell in love with was all wood and very homey. It was there that we booked although we did check out the others.

We looked at westbury manor, fox hollow, chateau la m and chateau briand. But out of your list def westbury manor, fox hollow, crest hollow, inn at new hyde park are great
