my FMIL just asked me...

if i wanted to go to the bar with her to get a pint of Guiness. would this freak anyone else out????

i am a little freaked out by this. i text FH & he said, please tell me you are making this up. & i said, sadly i can't even make something like this up.

i guess she ment well.

i used to have a relationship like that with my ex's mother her and i were always together very close shoped hung out got nails done together and everything unfortunately my FMIL is not like that lol... we get along shes very nice & sweet but not like that at all lol we barely speak..

we have a great relationship. we have gone shopping together & out for lunch. sometimes i will drive her to the store to do her grocery shopping. we even work together.

i just wouldn't hang out in the bar with her.

I'd go! I think I'd die if FMIL ever asked me that....but that's because:

A- she doesn't drink beer
and
B- she gets weird when she sees FH and I drink (story for another day)

But I think it could be great bonding time!

I drink Tequlia with my FMIL all the time.....My FH is a Tequlia wimp, he can't keep up with us
