My friend had her twins
I just wanted to share the good news. This is my best friend whose baby shower I threw about 2 weeks ago.
I am happy to say that everyone is doing well. It's been a rough couple of days. She wasn't due until March 30 but last Saturday her water for one of the babies broke. She's been in the hospital since then on complete bed rest. At around 5:00 p.m. yesterday her husband called me to tell me that she was starting some contractions.
DH and I headed over to the hospital and stayed there all night. I got to see my friend a couple of times during the night, which was nice.
Around 5 am this morning she had 2 boys. One is 4 lbs. 2 oz. and the other is 3 lbs. 15 oz. Everyone is doing well. The boys will have to stay in the NICU for a while and probably wont be able to come home until close to their original due date. But the doctors are saying that the babies are doing well.
