she can hand her the gifts? or maybe walk around showing people certain gifts? (sometimes at showers I've seen them pass certain things around, like the china, so everyone can see the pattern) She could pass out favors?

OR
how about looking into whether there is a little project she can do? like make a special gift for her aunt?

Handing her gifts is a cute idea, my sister had my flower girls hand me the gifts at my shower.
