My friends wedding at the Watermill With Pics!!!!

First off let me say that you girls picked a beautiful place. We arrived at the watermill and went inside to get our place cards. The cocktail hour was outside. I do suggest that you ask the RH to maybe place someone outside to direct you where to go because there were 2 events going on and it got a little confusing knowing which way to go. The ceremony was at the church but for you girls that are planning to have an outside ceremony there it looks beautiful. The cocktail hour outside was really nice there was a waterfall and there were a lot of tables so pretty much everyone had a seat. The food was great! The grounds were manicured really nice with flowers and bushes so you will not be disappointed with outside photos there. We went inside for dinner. We had the room up the stairs to the left. Sorry I forgot the name of the room. The wait staff was very nice as were the bartenders. Tommy Tunes was the DJ. They were really good. This particular couple gave them a specific list and to my understanding they stuck to it. They had candelabra centerpieces, just candles no flowers. If you are using these be careful because on a few occasions the actual candle fell out of the candleabra. We had fresh mozzarella with tomato, grilled zucchini and eggplant to start. For our meal we had a choice of 3 dishes. Filet Mignon, Salmon and Chicken. I chose the Filet Mignon. I thought it was very good. Then they had intermezzo. It looked really good but I was dancing so I didnt get to have any..or was I at the bar..lol. Then they had an ice cream with toasted almond topping. It was delicious and then cake. If you can, I recommend that you ask your RH to not serve the dessert and cake so soon after dinner. I noticed a lot of people left early. Besides the few suggestions, we had a great time and danced all night. You girls will be very happy. HTH. Sorry so long!

Here's the link to my album...Enjoy!!!

It was choc with strawberries and to be honest I felt it was just ok. I only took a bite for taste. But that was my opinion. Everyone seemed to eat it.

I heard the cakes were just ok too. We used the bakery they use (Erga in Bethpage) for our e-party and the cake was good (vanilla w/ cannoli and choc mousse). The one they had at the last showcases (marble cake) was aweful.

FH and I are going to erga's bakery, hopefully, they give us a cake taste. my family loves cake so i need it to taste good. i'm willing to pay more if needed.
