that because I will be a high risk pregnancy due to my Crohn's Disease, that before DH and I start TTC'ing I should see a peri-natologist? Is that the right word for it? I know he said 'peri-natolo'.....something.
He said to talk to my ob/gyn to recomend one to me but that sometimes ob/gyn's say 'oh you don't need one' but due to my crohn's my GI thinks I should.
I'm probably going to find an ob/gyn that is affiliated with Lawrence Hosp in Bronxville, seeing as we're not moving to LI now (I made an appt with your dr, Tammyjill but I cancelled it because I found out 2 people were on vacation that day too) so I'm going to find another ob/gyn up here. If anyone gave birth at Lawrence or can recommend an ob/gyn and/or a peri-natologist I would appreciate it.
TIA Mary

Re: My gastroenterologist told me..
I saw Dr Hamid Mootobar he has an office in Bronxville. He's a perinetaologist. Dr. Mootobar is affilated with Columbia. However, Lawerence hospital is in their Network so seeing Dr Mootobar should not be a problem. I don't have his telephone number because I used to see him at my OBGYN office in MT. Kisco.
