There was a funny article in Allure or Glamour lately about this happening to someone--she sent out cards I think with a picture of the ring saying 'The ring was a keeper...' and on the inside it said 'unfortunately the guy wasn't. Thank you for all your kind thoughts...' (or something to that effect--I remember thinking at the time it was funny)

i saw something once that said on the outside of the card- found the guy of my dreams and the inside said- but gave him the wrong finger. thanks for your support.

some actress did that when she broke off the wedding and then started a website and created cards for these types of occassions. i forgot the website though.

That's what I was going to say. Couldn't remember where I read it. I liked it though. I think the outside said 'Single!' and the inside said 'I gave him the wrong finger.' It was really really funny.

To your best friend!!! I hope she is ok...I know shes better off, but Im sure shes hurting. Ive heard in these sitautions where her mom would call her sides guests, or send out cards, and the 'grooms' mom sends out cards to their side. Yoru best friend should not have to deal with notifying everyone right now, shes probably embrarrassed( although she shouldnt be) and most likely in some pain. Thats where friends and family can help out, notifying people. Shes been through enough! Lots of hugs for her!!!
