I thought a florist who was a friend of a friend was going to do my wedding, holy God what now!!!!!!???????
The price he gave me was outrageous!!!!! HELP ME!!!!

I left a message for flower Michelle who is available for my day, any one else please???

uh oh, well jenn I would try burtons, my price was great, and I have been to two weddings done by them recently. Both great!

what about a local florist??

There are 2 or 3 on Myrtle ave, 1 on Fresh pond, 2 or 3 near the cemetary.

Crossbay blvd has a few florists

I have an appointment Thursday night with Flowers by Brian, and I am awaiting Flower Michelle to call me back and I am calling Burtons Tuesday.

I know that there is one on Fresh Pond that is really cheap, it's owned by a mother and daughter. I will call tonight and get the name for you. They do beautiful work and are very accomodating. They did a friends wedding at JA's and they had no complaints abuot quality, design or price.

Laurie is it the one that is right across the street from the train station. I think its Victoria's if thats the one you are talking about.

They are great in there, really nice and the flowers are beautiful. Brian bought me a bo-k of flowers from there and they lasted a week.

Jenn, Flower Michele is closed on Sun. and Mon., but you should definitely check him out before booking anyone!!!

I'm not sure, I have never been there. But Brian's friend swears by them, and when I told her I booked JA's, she suggested them. I will call her tonight...

Please try Colonial Florist, and ask for Claudo the owner, it is in Bellmore. He has been in business many years and does amazing work.

If you're in Queens, try the Queens Garden Center in Whitestone. I got my bouquets and boutineers there and they charged me half of what I was quoted at the Milleridge Florist for the same thing (4 corsages, 5 bouquets (with 18-24 roses), and 6 bout.) were $400.... My cousin and friend used them for centerpieces beautiful ones for around $50 a table.

Jenn I would check out Flower Michele before booking someone else. They do a great job and they are very reasonable. I know you're probably panicking right now, but there's not much you can do with vendors on a weekend. Try to relax for the day and make phone calls tomorrow. Remember...don't make an impulse decision just to book someone. Take a week and do some research. I'm sure you'll find someone.

Jenn, take a deep breath and don't make yourself crazy on this one! John from flower michele will totally take care of you. it looks like you called 3 really good vendors. I am sure of the 3, you will get someone. I of couse believe whole heartedly in Flower Michele. price wise and quality

Jenn - I used Flower Michele and had 225 people - I think 19 or 20 tables. Our centerpieces were $90 each - they were 30 french tulips in raised candelabras. I'm sure you've seen the pics:

John's absolutely fantastic. And my bouquets were STUNNING.
