where in NC? one of my best friends live down there, thats actually where FH proposed we're moving eventually.
just think of all the pluses:

okay, I'm drooling right now!
but the mall in Charlotte= AMAZING! you can have a gun... and go to the ranges= awesome tigerworld= loved!
there's a lot more then just farms and daddyuncle bob! lol
it really just depends on WHERE you are.
