My grandma needs your prayers. Updated

So my grandmother who is 78 has been in the hospital for the past 6 weeks.

Well we got a phone call last night at 11:30pm saying that her bleeding ulser is bleeding again and in her condition they don't want to do the surgery (she's got heart disease, which the hospital JUST told us, & diabetes, which is bad b/c she goes for dialysis 3x a week.)

So my mom spoke with the doctor and he didn't give her any good news, but he did have the nerve to say to her 'She doesn't have a DNR, and with her quality of life...' and my mom cut him off saying 'That's right, because you're going to do everything in your power to save her, that's what you're PAID to do.'

But girls, we really need your prayers. My grandpa turns 80 this summer, with their 55th wedding anniversary also and we just want to see them together for that.. at least!!

Update:

Mom is on the phone with the doctor right now.

It don't look good. She's bleeding AGAIN. And the choices are

surgery & maybe lose her
laser cortizone it & maybe lose her
let her sit in her room & lose her..

I am so sorry you are going through this. I wish there was something I could say to make it better. She is in my prayers as well as you and your family.
