I think I might have a heart attack! I just made up what I thought was going to be a tentative guest list to get a rough estimate of how many people we would be inviting. I did it off the top of my head without consulting with my FI or our parents...ya know...just for (fun) to get an idea.....My rough estimate is 256 freakin people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think I'm going to be sick......

I know I belong on the 05 board, but I just HAD to respond to this post.
My invites went out a week and a half ago.... we mailed 243 invitations. Our guest list at one point was well over 500 and between FH and myself we only had 90 people between us! After cutting the list down (alot I might add...) we ended up with 484 on the list. We're expecting anywhere between 350-360 people attending our wedding.
So far, the guest list has been the biggest stressor of them all!

How I cut my list:
No kids No dates (unless engaged or living with guest)
a) I don't run a black-tie baby sitting service b) I'll be damned if I am going to buy dinner for some guy's flavor of the week.

I know how you feel.. mine is about the same.. I didnt think it was the bad until you realizes everyone is by two..
