and not even realize they belong to the catering hall! How can I let them know that I only provided the bows that go under the candelabras & not the candelabras themselves??
I am so waiting to get a bill in the mail for 12 Candelabras !

Talk to the catering about how it's usually handled, what ever they suggest it's sure to work since they still have the candlapras (sp?)

Rather than an announcement (which I don't like that idea) - You could ask the place to have the waiters quietly say to the guests who look like they are trying to take the stands - that they may take the flowers but the stands belong to the reception hall.

I have never heard of people taking the centerpiece unless it is announced. I word at a country club sometimes and usually the people at the table ask if they can take it or not. If it is the clubs, we just tell them so. I would really be surprised if you had a problem with it.
