My hair/makeup dilema..long

Okay so 6 out of 8 of the people needing hairdo's go to 'Who does your Hair' in bellmore. I assumed we would have it done there. But I never called yet. Saturday MY MOH was there and literally heard someone book them for the morining of my wedding.!!!! She freaked and tried to help by booking for early afternoon however she couldn't fit in two of BM's and didn't realize that the photog was coming to my house at 2pm. So we had to cancel all of the appointmens... So sad because the girls at the salon were pissed bc this other girl that booked them was not even a regular costumer and we all are. So now my girl that I LOVE LOVE LOVE can't do my hair... Here come the part where I need your help. I really can't go for a trial now because my hair is growing out from a short hairstyle and wont really fit into an updo. So My friend used Magestic Day SPa on Merrick Rd. in seaford for her wedding. They all looked so great. I called and booked them and told them I would come for a trial in a few months. The makeup lady does not usually come in there until later in the day but they are going to ask her to come in earlier that day for a wedding... hope she can!. The lady at the desk assures me she is great. But makeup makes me more nervous than hair. SHould I go in soon for the makeup trial and later for the hair or do them both together in a few months???

Has anyone ever used this place????

I would start makeup trials right away. So if you don't like the salon makeup person, you will still have time to look for another one.

OH- that STINKS!!! I go to Who does your hair too!!! and I'm thinking I should book my AUGUST wedding NOW!! Thanks for positng!

I would book it now... But go in person because the girl at the desk was soo confused when I called and cancelled. She said that her book only goes up to May and that girl booked for July.... so they must have a separate book for late next year.

Wow, you totally just freaked me out. I'm getting married in Feb. and have not booked hair or makeup trials yet. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would need to have!! I think I'm using the Jewel Box which is out on LI somewhere because they did my friends wedding. I guess I should get on it!!
