my hair stylist knew my hair & the way i feel about it better than anyone could, i sat in the chair and made sign language & he'd get it everytime..for years we talked about dying it & when i finally worked up the nerve to put redish streaks in it last november he wasn't surprised at all to see me walk in a month later with it all back to black..he laughed at me & said he knew it, it just wasn't me (that's why he refused to strip & do blonde highlights, he convinced me I'd weene myself there if I could) he was so right to do that, he wasn't insulted, he just told me i was silly for spending over 200 on high lights only to spend 8 bucks covering them, lol...ah Albert..we talked about my wedding hair every visit since i got engaged last february...he knew exactly what i have pictured, i had my appt with him for 11am on my wedding day, scheduled at the beginning of this year..
I got a call from my salon 2 weeks ago..
'Albert passed away'
I have not thought about my wedding hair since the call, coming to terms with the fact he is gone, my hair magician, my stylist, my Albert.
I am worried, no one but him has touched my hair in years..

I am so sorry for your loss.... i know it must be tough b/c a hairstylest becomes such a close friend after going there for so many years
I know it will be hard, but i would start going and having trials done so that way you can put ur mind at ease...

I am sorry for your loss! Hair stylists that we know and love are so important- kind of like family. Hang in there girl.

OMG, I’m so sorry to hear that. I used to go there, but never to him personally. I can just imagine how you feel. Once I’m with someone I don’t like to go to just anyone. Have you ever used anyone else there, because I know they were all good there? I know Olympia is no longer there…not sure who is left there from a long time ago.

That is sooooo sad. Im so sorry
I know its going to be hard but if you need a recommendation, my girl totally gets my hair and no one else does. She's also the type of stylist who wont do something if she doesnt think its right or wont cut it unless she thinks it work with your face. Let me know if you wanna give her a try. Albert would be very happy to know you had your perfect wedding day hair!
