My hair trial! (With pics- little long!)

I had my first (and ended up being my only) hair trial with Maria from Concours D'elegance and loved her!

I let her play and she came up with a great half up style. The 'all up do' seemed to be the winner of the day but I'm not used to wearing my hair all up so I'm still not sure. Let's see what others who don't know me think! My friends and family are split (some keep changing their minds!)

I was using sample pieces b/c I don't have mine yet but I'm posting a pic I took after I ordered my pins-I thought I wanted my hair that way too:

Here's Maria's half up:

Ignore my silly pose!

Maria said she'd use medium rollers for more defined curls-she used large ones here

All up-

I'd do different crystals but you get the idea:

Here my side pins are in addition to the clusterd in the back.

there are more in my album (with my BM pics-if I do the all up style they will have to choose another updo style!) but I didn't want to post all of them! Any thoughts are appreciated! TIA!

I like the half-updo although I would go a little simpler on the curl arrangement on top.

They both look great, I can see why you're having a hard decision!!!

I think the half up half down is better, but I would do it based on what you feel more comfortable in!

The updo is quite simple and elegant.

I agree! The 1/2 up is too soft IMO!

I love Maria, I am using her too. I like the 1/2 up, 1st pic. It is loose and airy. The 2nd is nice also but more formal.

Thanks! But it's not all that thick- in all pics they teased my hair a little to give it volume. (Maria also used rollers) I actually have been told I have thin strands but a lot of them! Shows what tallented hair people can do! I've been growing it out so the length is what made it! (can't wait to chop a few inches off tho!)

Thanks for the input....seems it's 50-50 here too! The only reason I hesitate on the all up is because I usually wear my hair down....eh, at least this is a good problem to have!

Def the half up/half down, it frames your face better!! The updo seems too restraining IMO, but both are beautiful!!

The pins with pearls are samples from Macys (Mine will be like the first pic)- the cluster pins on the all up do are samples from Maria- I'm looking for something simpler and just little crystals.

Maria is great and has great reviews on here- I recommend her!!
