a few days ago Amy51708 posted a mothers day gift idea she used. i thought it was the cutest thing ever, so i started to make it for my mom and so far it's really cute!!
it's a mason jar filled with 52 pieces of folded paper. each note says something nice about, or is a memory about your mom...or just something you know will make her smile. and starting on mothers day, continuing every sunday for the next year, she can open another one.
i thought it was adorable...here is mine...i'm not finished, i bought a glass painting set so i'm going to paint the jar, but i think it's cute so far...and if anyone is looking for a really cheap gift idea with a lot of meaning in it, this is awesome.

Do you know who you juast asked that question to? I always have at least 4 -5 of them in my purse freshly printed out every monday morning. Thanks for your concern though

I go to both the one in Hauppague and the one in Holbrook. I work close to the one in Hauppague though, so that's the one I go to most. You see the secret is to go to more than one that way you get everything with a coupon!

I love that idea - it's so cute!
since you're into scrapbooking, you can have her save the ones she's opened and then scrapbook them all, with pics and stuff.. it would be cute.. that could be next year's mothers day gift! lol
