Sorry for being sooo freaking lazy with these but I finally uploaded 30 pics out of the 600 I have and put them in my album under 'My 3 week HM in Europe'.
4 days in Barcelona 3 day in Venice 12 days on a Princess cruise in the Mediterranean - places we visited while on the cruise: Italy: Venice, Rome, Florence, Pisa, Sorrento, Capri, Naples Turkey: Istanbul and Kusadasi France: Marsille Greece: Athens and Mykonos (amazing place!)

Very nice! Would you say that a cruise for your HM was relaxing? Both cruises I've been on required me to wake up early to get out onto the islands...I'm talking like 7-8am early. I REALLY want to do a Mediterranean HM but am afraid that we will be getting up so early often and won't be able to kick back and veg out.....any personal opinions?

Ev, I am so jealous. The pics look amazing. I can't imagine going to all those places. Which country did you like best? I am biase 'Greece all the way'. I have never been to Italy or France and would love to go to both. Congrats and pics came out great.

Well Athens is nothing to write home about my Mykonos - OMG!!!! DH are thinking of going there really soon :) Sooo beautiful and WHITE! Amazing resorty place :)
I loved VENICE too! So romantic. Everything you see just screams romance. Even the pigeons (which I absolutely hate) add to the romance of Venice. And btw, the pics don't do it any justice - it's one of those places you just have to see for yourself.
Barcelona was also beautiful. So many different streets with their own take on architecture - modern, old, gothic, funky etc....
I'd say Mykonos and Venice are a tie for first place and Barcelona is second. Everything else is on 3rd

Here is the thing - there were only 3 days in Italy that required us to get up early. All the other exursions started late morning. But with DH and I (and this is going to sound really corny :) ) we didn't care what we were doing and how early it was as long as we were together. We had a blast waking up early, showering quickly, grabbing our stuff, running off the ship and onto a bus etc.... it was all really fun. Also, remember that you get to pick what excursions you want - so if you don't want to get up early - pick one that starts later. The Emerald Princess was an amazing ship, brand new too and for those ppl that stayed on deck and didn't leave, they constantly had activities to keep them occupied. Lastly, DH and I didn't want to be at a resort for 3 weeks b/c honestly - 5 days of tanning and doing nothing would have been enough, we would not have been able to do it for 3 weeks straight.

Ev your HM looked amazing!! We are so doing that trip for our 1 year anniversary. I almost wish we did it for our HM. Didn't you love Princess? We just booked our excursions for our honeymoon with Princess to Hawaii and Tahiti. We are psyched!!
