I am totally freakin out.........I HATE to fly and I just got a call from my TA saying that our flight going to St Lucia has been changed AGAIN (this is the 3rd time)...but now its not just the time...now we have a lay over in Barbados....which means 2 take offs going and to landings....Im totally freakin out!!!!
I want to just cancel the honeymoon all together but FH is againest that......UGHHH
I dont think my Xanex is gonna be enough for my nerves now
Our TA said she doesnt really know why they are changing it again, but I told her that was the reason in the first place that we booked that flight and day... I wanted to leave the day after the wedding but there was a 5 hours lay over in Pueto Rico and FH did not want to do that so we decided to leave 2 days after the wedding and get the straight flight....so much for that.

See if they can get you on another flight. That's crazy that it changed 3 times!

I HATE flying too, so I know how you feel. You have to talk to your TA and tell how how you feel. It's a little crazy that it changed three times. .I would be annoyed too. It's hard for us to actually get on a plane especially when we hate it soooo much. See what your TA can do for you. Good Luck

We are also going to St. Lucia for our HM and I am a bit nervous as well to fly...this is my plan...
because the flight is at the butt-crack of dawn, I don't plan on sleeping. Once I am on the plane, I will be taking a Tylenol PM and a drink of some sort (if need be).
Try to remember that it's so worth it!!!

this is what u do and im serious...u go and write a letter to the airline company..guess what u get nasty in the letteer and that u wouldnt recommend anyone to this airline if this is straightened out. I did that b/c they changed my flight soooooooooo many times when i went away last February break to the Bahamas. I complained, complained,,, and guess what I got a $200 voucher...they dont want to lose ur business
so go and enjoy urself..when u get home type that letter up... hey what can u lose

All joking aside, can you try to get an Rx for Ambien or Lunesta. I have severe anxiety over flying too and I pop an Ambien before I get on the plane and it puts me out for the majority of the flight. I pretty much board the plane, strap in and fall asleep. I wake up about 4 hours later and it's smooth sailing from there. And once I wake up I'm not groggy or anything.

im so sorry they keep changing your flight. see my fiancee wanted hawaii and i said yeah if you knock me out. Aruba for us is the in between and whenever i talk about it i get a knot in my stomach. Hang in there. We will both be ok.... once you get there youll be happy you did it!!!. Good luck!!

My dr gave me Xanex....so we will see if that helps me this time
