My honeymoon is being cut short...UPDATE

I dont know if anyone knows about it, although its all over the news, but my cruise ship went on fire this morning about 3 am. Im on the cruise ship right now, luckily on the side of the ship that wasnt burned. It has been a really horrible experience.

One person had died and like 17 people injured. Im sad that our honeymoon will be cut short but so happy that we are still alive and our belongings are okay.

Around 120 rooms were destroyed and a lot of the passengers' belongings destroyed from soot and water.

Ill keep you more up to day hopefully tomorrow. We will be coming home, flying out of Jamaica. Ill post some pics of this horrible tragedy.



ETA: We are getting a full refund of the cruise plus a full refund of our initial flights. They are also giving us a 25% discount if we want to take another cruise by the end of 2007

I just heard about it a little whileago. My heart dropped when I heard it b/c I went on a cruise for my honeymoon too. My thoughts are with everyone.

I was just reading about that earlier. I'm so sorry that this is how you'll always remember your honeymoon. But thankfully you and DH were not hurt. Have a safe trip home

I'm so sorry this has happened to you!!!! I was thinking about you, b/c I remembered you telling me where you where going... I'm glad to hear that you and DH are ok... Please get back safe....

Thank God you are okay! I saw some raw footage of that ship... it looks horrible. I am so sorry you guys had to go through such a terrible thing... but it's such wonderful news to know that you are both okay!!
