My honeymoon review! (Puerto Vallarta Mexico) with TONS of pics!

We just got back last night! We stayed 10 days at the Dreams resort and spa in Puerto Vallarta Mexico and had an amazing time!!

We got to the hotel (its all inclusive btw) and there was a banner on our door and our bed was filled with rose petals and we had a bottle of champagne waiting for us







Our view was AWESOME! I loved waking up and going to bed hearing the sounds of the ocean!









The weather was so weird but very predictable..we were paranoid about going because it is rainy season but it wasnt bad at all! It was beautiful and sunny EVERY day up until about 5pm when it would POUR and we'd get a cool lightning show with the loudest thunder i think id ever heard!





The food was really good! There was an italian restaurant- Portofinos that we loved the most, then a Mexican restaurant- El Patio, then like a BBQ place- Seaside Cafe, a buffet place- the world cafe, and a seafood restaurant (we never ate there bc we dont like seafood) but everything else was amazing!









Some other random activities at the hotel- Every night they did a sea turtle release and that was so cool to hold a little sea turtle and watch them go into the ocean- they were soo cute! DH played beach volleyball everyday (the guys that are part of the 'entertainment' crew were really good!) We also got massages at the spa and of course enjoyed the pools and the beach a ton! There were like 4 different pools but our favorite was the infinity pool and the pool that had a swim up bar













Our hotel had nightly trips to different bars every night and one night we met a couple at the hotel bar and we decided to all go out together to the ZOO Bar and we had a ton of fun!










Activities:

We went to sea life park to swim with dolphins- what an awesome expierience! First of all it was a whole water park and when u payed admission to swim with dolphins, you were able to use the whole park. We swam with dophins for about an hour, then we watched a show with sea lions and then enjoyed the park for a few hours, def a great place to go!

We also when to this place called Las Caletas, its a private island. We took a catamaran there, and the staff was dancing on the boat and making it a fun time. (lunch and drinks were included) once we got to the island they had tons of activities set up that u can do

we chose to pay extra and snorkle with sea lions. We werent sure how this worked but it turned out they brought a sea lion from their park (we felt really bad about this but they said they had rescued this sea lion from being really hurt and he was unable to return to the wild) to the ocean where we were and there were small group of 6 of us and they did tons of tricks and we got to swim with him and get kisses and hugs haha






The island itself is beautiful, and we also went on a nature walk, got to hold a monkey and a parrot, and had lunch and relaxed on the beach

The only bad part of this place was in the water they had what they called 'water mosqitos' i heard they were baby jelly fish or something but u couldnt see them and it hurt when they stung u! The sting only lasted a few seconds and then it didnt bother u anymore but u def felt it and DH and I both got stung several times (but again after like 3 seconds u didnt feel any pain and there were no marks)














and the last big activity that we went was zip lining through the rain forest! We did this through Canopy Chicos

We felt extremely safe and the guys that led us were really fun! There were 10 lines that we went down. Some were really high, some were really fast- it was def a great mixture!






yup theres some guy bathin in the water! (thank god he was wearing a bathing suit lol)

great review. You guys look like you have the best time-you are alos very brave for holding and kisses all those animals. I would be so scared. I have to point out in the 2nd to last pic=is that man washing himself in the background. Haha.

Why is your DH making squishy, grossed-out faces with all the animals?? hehehehe cute

Question though- we were realy interested in visiting some Aztec ruins or some sort of tour like that- is anything like that nearby or available?
