My honeymoon truth...EPM related
I have to preface this by saying that I'm 99.9% sure that if this would have been a sunny beautiful week this post would not exist but...
I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO happy to be going home tomorrow! The weather here has been horrendous and I hear its not going away anytime soon! We have not seen the sun since Tuesday (okay really Monday since Tuesday was cloudy but compared to this I will take it). I know that weather can not be faulted on a resort...yes I chose Mexico at the end of hurricane season but honestly, HONESTLY when have you ever heard about hurricanes in November? Thank you Ida, thank you very much.
And I know, it's your honeymoon you're supposed to spend it with your DH in the room but spend five days in a room with an outrageous rooftop with your own pool WHICH YOU HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO USE and see how you feel. Since Sunday I have eaten at least six, yes I said SIX individual bags of chips, drank more alcoholic drinks than I care to admit and have listened to the most obnoxious people since Tuesday.
Which brings me to my next and biggest gripe....the wedding![]()

There has been a huge, oh I would say fifty person wedding from CT here since Tuesday and every day, in the rain, they have been in the pools, at lunch and dinner, in the elevator (ANYWHERE) doing the Wooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!! and ridiculous name chanting everywhere. It has not ended. You can not go anywhere - to breakfast, to the beach (in the rain) to the spa - oh yes the hydrotherapy circuit was ruined - without hearing them.
And as a result of horrendous weather and the big wedding party EPM does not know how to control large amounts of people anywhere - at a bar, at a restaurant, in the rooms as far as room service is concerned - and the night before we are leaving I can say I've had enough!
I am so so so frustrated and angry and BROKE due to this 'wonderful' honeymoon putting us out about $5000 - I just want to be home.![]()

Many many many girls have had awesome EPM experiences and I wish I could have been one of them - maybe all of this wouldnt have seemed that big except I also forgot to mention our power has been out TWICE and our closet is leaking and I had to take everything out of it and pack up very early due to our gorgeous expensive roof leak.
I'm sorry to sound so bratty but I JUST WANT TO BE HOME right now. I love DH and have had a great time with him despite all of this but I'm just so frustrated with this stay!![]()
