My house deal fell through-UPDATE

Basically, we had signed the contracts and left the downpayment, by the time they received the papers they had changed their miind. It was a matter of 3 days!! As far as the lawyers fees, I requested my attorney bill them b/c I'm tottally annoyed at this, and as for the engineer I waived it, I'm a construction engineer so I walked the house through myself. FH & I bent over backwards to accomodate these people and we had a great repore (sp?) with them, I never thought the guy would go back on his word, he reassured me this was a done deal...Now we are back to looking, feeling angry and heartbroken...But at least we're in it together, and that makes this whole thing easier.

Well if you want me to egg his house and toilet paper his trees, just let me know.

ugh thats AWFUL. I would definitely make them pay for your attorney.

i'm so sorry for you...but the good news is that wasn't your house. i know you loved it and wanted it, but that house wasn't meant for you. you're going to find something you love even more now and you'll be happy that this happened.

but i know you're bummed about it now and i would TOTALLY send her the bill for the lawyer, what a nasty thing for them to do to you.

WOW that amazes me that it happened like that. Its so scary about buying a home and you finally find it and then the ******* takes another offer with out given you a chance to make another offer.
