My Invitations! Another check!

I used Jessica Leigh for my invites! She's great...Jessica customizes to your liking. I fell in love with the purple lace and knew this was going to be our wedding invite. We chose the birdcage and the two pudgy birds. They are so cute. She added the green rhinestones to add color which go great with purple...We used a postcard for our r.s.v.p to save money and because we thought it was cute. When we went looking for invites i wanted those nice pocket fold ones but then i found out that the postage alone was going to be very costly so we took the simple route.

For each invite it was 45 cents and 32 cents for the postcard. The first post office weighed my invite and said it will cost 65 cents and then i went to another and they said 45 cents and i said sold! This included the invite itself, postcard, venue directional card and hotel info. Also keep in mind if you ladies are planning on having any embelishments make sure u tell the post office u want them HAND CANCEL!This means they will not put the invites through the machine that may ruin the crystals or rhimestones. They will hand stamp them personally! Hope this helps!! Sorry for the long post!

The postcards are a great idea, I've never thought of that. That's also an excellent price. Why did the post offices have two different prices, I would've thought it would be by weight so it should be standard. Sorry so many questions, I didn't start this process yet. Thanks :)

Thank you ladies! When i went to weigh my invites at the first post office they said 65 cents which was not bad at all. I went to the second post office to see if they had different wedding stamps which they did and since i was there I was curious to see if there was a weight difference from the first post office and to my surprise there was. I asked the man at the counter why was I priced more and he explained that the weight of the invite was in between the standard price and guess the lady was playing it safe. I guess he was in a good mood! Sometimes smiling and being friendly can go a long way! lol or maybe my good karma...

Her pricing is very reasonable, especially since she is designing the invitation. I am waiting for my final proof right now and it has been a pleasure working with her

Jessica is reasonably for the work she does. Each of her invites are handmade and she does it all! Pocketfold as well. She will sit down with you and design your invite with you.
