My Invitations Are Almost Done (Pics Inside)

Okay, so nothing anyone says will hurt my feelings, so be honest, and if I've made any mistakes, please don't hesitate to point it out.

Pocketfold Invitations - pocketfold will be antique gold, and instead of the black ribbon, I will use white ribbon. I will also be closing the ribbon with a monogram sticker.

Now, here are the Invites, and the enclosures:

It looks beautiful! The only thing I can think of which is really minor anyway, is that you may want to keep the way you spell 'honor' consistent.

You spelled it 'honour' on the invite
and 'honor' on your RSVP card.

I LOVE THEM!!!!

But I have a question - why does the reception card have the whole Mr & Mrs invite you......on it? I mean because you already wrote that on the invitation itself.

Chris they look so beautiful! I see nothing at all wrong with them.

Only one ?-Should it be Our Lady of Lebanon 'Church'

They are beautiful! I'm using pocketfolds, too - I love them!

Question: on your reception card, should it be the 'marriage reception FOR their children' rather than the 'marriage reception OF their children'?

I am no grammar guru, but the 'of' sounds funny to me. I could be wrong, so don't change it on only my word!

ETA: Like someone else asked, do you need all the fancy wording on the reception card? Are you inviting some guests only to the reception? Maybe you don't need all that verbage, in which case, the of/for question is moot!

I deleted our last names from the invite and the reception cards...so that will get rid of the repetition!

Thanks!

Nope, it's Cathedral - official name of the church.

Good Looking out though KID!

The only reason I selected 'of' is b/c the reception is in a posessive tense. If that makes any sense.

We wanted to be able to have the invite and the reception stand alone in either case, so that's why there is repetition.

Thanks for looking out! Keep 'em coming!

No I got that - I was referring to what another poster said.....I am not good at explaining what I mean!

I mean why did you go through the whole informal 'we invite you' verbiage thing on both the invitation and the reception card? I am thinking you only need to be so formal in one place.

Ah, gotcha now! Thanks for clarifiying.
