They are beautiful! I love them. Is the overlay glued on or anything or is it just laying on top and held in place by the ribbon?

Thanks! The overlay is just held in place by the ribbon. My mother suggested that I tie all the ribbons first and then put them on, which is a really good idea.

She said that I should find something hard that's the same width/thickness as the invitation (maybe a piece of cardboard) and use that to tie the bows. This way I don't end up bending the invites while tying!

I'm hoping that if I can tie the ribbon tight enough, I can tuck the RSVP stuff in the back and it will stay in place.

i like the idea of tucking everything in the ribbon - it just has a more polished look

but that is jmo becasue i had to have pocketfold and a card made for eerything i would need

LOL--I originally wanted a pocketfold for that same reason! It was just too much $$$ for her to do it though so I gave up on the idea. I love pocketfolds though--everything very neat and organized

Thanks! They're going to be printed on thick textured white paper and letterpressed. I'm also thinking about having a pink vellum overlay and white satin bow like this:

She's going to cut the vellum for me so it's the right size for the invites. She can do the bows too if I want her too but I'd rather save the $$ and do it myself. It would've been an extra $1.50 an invite otherwise!
