My invites are OUT!

Just wanted to share that they are in the mail this morning, I can't believe they are done! Another thing checked off the list. I will be waiting for the responses like a dog for a treat!! LOL

Really? Why? I am more nervous that I wrote the wrong address or I didn't put a response card in there or the PO screws up and sends them back to me.

Are you OK?

I felt very relieved after sending mine out, like I got a major thing off my list. We just did our seating last night. Good luck!

I'm paranoid I got someone's name or address wrong...but I guess I can't sweat it....

sonicstef, I did mine early because I had a lot of out of town guests coming and I never sent out save the date cards...

I think we're pretty early so you're ok!

We didn't send out Save the Date cards either and it is Columbus Day weekend and I figured the earlier the better. I would not worry (although I think I would panic if I saw one of you girls sending them out and your wedding date was before me too...) I am sure everything will be OK!

I too am nervous about not adding a invititation in there or a response card since FH helped this weekend and we were chatting while doing it. He was a big help! I also figured if any comes back, it is earlier than later and I can get another out ASAP.

Sonicstef - we haven't send ours out either and we are the same day as you. I'm just waiting to get the envelopes back from the calligrapher and then we'll be sending them out.

I mailed mine out on Saturday! What a relief. Tell me this, did it take you forever to do? FH and I were up until 2 AM stuffing/stamping/checking etc. Found a few mistakes, but not too many. So glad they are out! I can't wait to see reponses!

Sonicstef, I am glad to see I am not the only one who didn't send the Invites out yet. I am the day before you, I hope to have mine out by Wednesday. I started to get nervous when I realized the girls are getting married after me, but I know how 'on top of things' you are so you made me feel much better

Mickey...I was honestly surprised that it did not take me forever to do but I have been doing them off and on for the last 3 weeks and we only have 75 invitations to send out. I know that isn't a lot. And I did not do them at one sitting. It took us about an hour to put the cards in the response envelope and stuff them all together and then maybe another hour to seal and put the the leaf sticker on the envelope.

Oct Bride - when it comes to invites, Im really not on top of things. It took me forever to finally decide on the perfect design, etc.. So they are going to be at least 1 week after the recommended 8 weeks prior. So be it.
