My invites just went out!!!!!!!!!

I cannot believe that its really here!!! I just went to the post office and had them hand cancelled so I hope to be getting back RSVP's next week and now I get to stalk the mailman

And a funny thing happened at the post office..I usually go to the one near my job and I go to specifically one person there who knew I was hand canceling and did the same for my shower invites. Well she was on lunch when I went so I go to a different person and she said she would hand cancel but she would do it during the day and I said well can you please do them now and her response was well I am not going to do them now..I am the only window open and I am not going to have people wait because you want me to do them now and you are the 1st person to say that you want to watch me do them in all my 30+ yrs working for the post office...my response was well I know of people that the post office promised them they would hand cancel and in the end they didnt, THANKS LIW ....so she said she would and I should trust her...I said well can I just have them back which she did and I went to another post office 5 min away and the guy did it in front of me when I asked if I could watch.

Was I a b*tch???

On and btw there was one guy waiting and all the talk it would have taken her 5 min to just do it.

Just my rant for today

Argh some post office people can be so rude. You weren't a b*tch you were just leary of leaving your invites and she'll come and mess them up. At least the other place did them right away ..Yayyy for your invites going out

I have a sneaking suspicion my invites were NOT hand canceled even though I specifically asked them to be.... but the guy who works in the Port Jeff village post office is REALLY mean and I was afraid to ask to watch I thought he might sabotage them!

That was my fear after I asked her if I could watch...she gave me an attitude that I didnt want to leave them there even after she promised...I thought she would not do it just for spite

Mine went out on Wednesday! What a relief!

Soooo exciting! I sent mine yesterday and I just told them that I would stamp them myself if that was ok, so they put me at an empty counter and showed me what to do and then in between customers 2 of the ladies would come over and help me. They were really sweet. If anyone is in the Deer Park area, use the post office on Carll's Straight Path, they were excellent! It also helps to go mid morning 10 or 11 am once most people are already at work and before lunchtime. Congrats!!!!!

YAY!!! Getting the responses is so much fun!! So far I have 66 yes and 1 no!! we invited 286!!!

I love stalking my mail man!! haha
