Jenise: In your opinion, do you think it's worth making them versus paying for somebody else to do it?

i do think its worth it...i mean it def takes a LOT of time and patience...but i get it to come out EXACTLY how i want it (unfortunately i learned that i am a very anal person when it comes to these things haha), its cheaper then having it done, and i get the satisfaction that i actually did this myself (def feels good to get compliments on something YOU actually did rather then someone else did) haha but thats just me lol

I am going to do my own however, how do you print out the inserts because they are not a size of regular computer paper? I mean do you have to have a template to print out so it fits on the paper and is centered? tia!!

i made a table and printed two inserts per page(when u write text into a table you can center it)...it took a very long time and lot of prints later to figure out the correct size haha but when u go to do yours just let me know and i can send you mine to use as a guide

oh thanks so much! I am in the processes of ordering samples from cards and pockets. the cheapest i found but i think i like the ones that are 6x6 and dont have the pocket but you can actually use a ribbon to hold the inserts in place. but i think i will need to just order pre cut sheets of card stock and then buy a preferator (sp?) and paper cutter to do that because i know the preferator will fold the cardstock nicely and not give it that cracked look?! i dont know haha i know it's going to be a process with me since i am so anal as well

omg i know im really nuts when i was gluing the peices down if it wasnt perfectly straight i would go nuts meanwhile brian couldnt even tell what i was talking about lol...but i have a paper cutter so just borrow mine when u do yours..tho i dont have a preforrator haha

no i found the map on the larkfield manor website and i pasted it onto microsoft paint and erased somethings it said and just pasted the map into my word document

haha i know i am going to be horrible i feel bad for my mom and sisters who are going to help but thanks if you dont mind i would love to borrow your paper cutter. i think i saw a preforator in ac moore last time i was there for cheap. oh did you use your lamination machine for the invites? I was thinking of doing that for the actual invite instead of glue making it like a sticker.

yup lol those invites arent going anywhere! haha so u can borrow that also if u want...the only thing that ***** is if its not completely straight its really hard to re-do...i used the permanent adhesive..they also have repositional adhesive that im debating geting for the rest but i dont know if that will end up not really holding so i dunno ill prob just stick with my permanent and continue to be super careful
