My reign as BOTW is over and this is my Last QOTD! It has been great! Stayed Tuned for the new BOTW announcement....
Question:
If FH hadn't asked you, would you have asked HIM to marry you?
There is a new show on WE called Surprise Wedding and this is essentially the premise. Women ask their BF's to marry them on the spot on stage in front of everyone and on national TV!
My answer:
Uh, No.... Not that I knock any woman who has or plans to, but I just don't have the courage. I knew Fh loved me and wanted to marry me but I would always have that thought in the back of my head of whether or not he would have ever asked me or whether he said yes just because I asked.

Re: ***MY LAST QOTD****
If FH had not asked i would've not asked him. I would've been way to nervous. I did though used to say to him 'Dahling would you marry me' but in a playful way and he used to say yes but i wouldn't do it formally just to nervous.

Noooo..... I would have been like Monica on that episode of Friends and cried through the whole thing, and then be like, 'There's a reason why girls don't do this!'

I would of not done it!! I wwas bugging him for a while for an engagement ring... We already lived together (Just being Spoiled)... But he proposed without the ring and then purchased it!!! Crazy right??!! We tend to do things the opposite of everyone and fortunately it comes out just right!!

Re: ***MY LAST QOTD****
Its sort of funny because DH and I had this on going thing where we asked one another. We always knew we would get married. I felt like I wanted an official, get down on one knee with a ring proposal. I never told him that but when he did it was amazing. I don't think I would have ever gotten on one knee to propose that is for sure. Sort of old fashion in a way I guess.

ITA ...one of the girls on the show last night was in her 30's and her BF was 24!! and she kept saying 'WE' are ready, if he was so ready perhaps he would have asked you.

Me three! Being proposed to is something I have waited for my whollllle life and while I know FH would have said yes, me proposing to him wouldn't mean as much to him as the proposal would mean to me.. To him the wedding as a whole isn't a big deal becuase we have been living together for almost two years.. For me it is a HUGE deal so that is why I would never have proposed to him if that makes any sense! lol

Re: ***MY LAST QOTD****
Probably not...but I wasn't really the one who wanted to get married. He wanted to be married before we had kids and I wanted a house before any of that. We bought a house in October 2008 and he proposed in December 2008. He wants kids very quickly so I think that was his motivation for the proposal.
