Has now turned into 14 people. Since everything has been going on with FH's uncle he asked his daughter to be a bridesmaid. (I love her so I couldnt be happier) But the small wedding party I planned on having turned into 7 guys and 7 girls...I guess the more the merrier...

It can be a good thing- I only have 1 MoH, 2 BM's and FH has 1 BM and 2 GM but I always wished I would have a bigger bridal party- but yes the more the merrier but also sometimes (not to scare you) more headaches

They're all great so I'm not worried about that. The 2 problem BM's dropped out in the first few months thank god.

Count your blessings! I originally asked 7 girls to be bridesmaids and they all said yes. Now I only have two who are definitely going to be in the wedding. My fiance has five guys! You are lucky that everyone wants to participate (even though that means shelling out more money for gifts, rehearsal dinner, etc.) It means you have friends and family who really love and care about you and your special day!!
I am wondering what in the world is wrong with my friends and if they truly are my friends after what they have put me through with this wedding! Big wedding parties can be more trouble to coordinate, but they look beautiful and it means more helpers. Yay!!! You can stick someone on the guest book, someone else on the gift table, someone to hand out programs, someone to do a reading, etc. They do not all have to walk down the aisle. Also, after the wedding they can take care of any last minute duties for you, so you can think about more important things.
I am sure it will work out beautifully! Just think though... You are loved!!!

We have 6 and 6... and I feel a bit overwhelmed w/it too. its a lot of people to get organized!

I had the same thing- one of my BM dropped out because of finanical reasons but the wedding was still like 10 months away- so I asked FH's SIL to be a BM because she's so there for me and helpful.
