My little cousin is in the hospital updated

She was put in last night. She has colitis. And apparently the meds she was on made it worse and now she has to stay in for 1 week or more. And to make it worse today is her 13th birthday. They have to put a pick in her today so she gets some food into her. I am going to see her later today.

Went to see her last night. And the nurse said she can probably go home friday or saturday cause she is doing alot better. She was so glad we went to see her. We were her only visitors all day. How horrible is that. Her mother went for about 30min the the morning and then went home nd her dad din't go see her at all. But I am glad she will be going home. We are going back tonight. She will be staying with us for the rest of the summer.

Oh my god. That poor little girl. And at 13 years old - that kind of stuff will stay with her for a LONG time!

I'm glad she's doing better and will be able to go home soon... That's really great that she'll be staying with you guys...
